1959 The family business Prestando starts. Focus is on contract work. Chief supplier mainly to the
department at Trelleborg AB that manufactures vibration dampers of various kinds.
1995 Major extension of the property with totally 4610m2. The same year we invest in a cutting section
that can cope with 800 x 12 mm from coils, in a truck and overhead crane that can cope with
10 ton, and finally in a linear vibration tumbling plant. Turnover reaches close to
fifty million (49.8) SEK.
1999 Certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Enlarged land by 4300 m2.
Storage space enlarged by 880 m2. 15.000 kN transfer press line for maximum 12 mm thickness
and band feeder is installed. Two automatic lines for flanges equipped with all-control, threading,
supervision and vision control. Upgrade from PT-Modeler to ProEngineer (4 licenses).
2008 Expansion of the premises doubles the area, turnover now over 300 million SEK.
Vibracoustic, Germany, becomes a customer. Investments in two new press lines,
1000 and 2000 tons.
